PROJECT MANAGED ORGANISATION (PMO) AWARD
AIPM's assessment-based Project Managed Organisation (PMO) program grants PMO accreditation to any organisation that fulfills our recognition criteria.
An organisation that doesn't fully satisfy the criteria isn't necessarily excluded from gaining PMO status, since the aim of the program is to also recognise those that have made a commitment to a change or improvement process.
BENEFITS OF THE PMO AWARD
The PMO Award confirms to prospective and current clients that your organisation has the appropriate structures, methodologies and training in place for consistently achieving successful projects.
It also provides recognition for you, your department or business unit to other parts of your organisation, confirming that project management is a specific skill requiring trained and competent personnel.
Organisations that achieve the PMO award will be entitled to use our endorsement logo.
STEPS TO THE PMO AWARD
To organise your application for the PMO award, you will first need to contact our National Manager Professional Advancement.
Upon receipt of your application, we will contact you to provide details of PMO assessors to choose from, so you can arrange a suitable time for a half-day assessment workshop. AIPM will then arrange for the PMO assessor to conduct an asssessment workshop.
After the workshop, the assessor will send a report to AIPM with his/her recommendation whether your organisation should be awarded PMO status or not.
