Apr 30

Presented by David Freudigmann
Director, Global Project Solutions Pty Ltd

Delivering any project internationally is a challenge, particularly one established on the site of one of our nations most sacred national memorials, and which integrates construction, leading-edge audio/visual systems, major new multimedia content and also world-leading software development.

This session will look at how project management was applied to integrating construction and technology, and how to successfully deliver high-quality complex projects in an overseas environment.

The Sir John Monash Centre near Villers-Bretonneux, France is a lasting legacy of the Anzac Centenary and one of Australia’s premiere overseas cultural institutions.  The SJMC is a new breed of museum – designed primary as an integrated multimedia-focused visitor experience.   The Centre uses digital and interactive multimedia technology to tell the story of Australian actions on the Western Front during the First World War, and utilizes new world-class technology to allow the visitor to access multi-language content streamed direct to their personal smartphones.
