Design thinking is an iterative problem solving process. It aims to structure the creative process into a number of defined steps that allow the practitioner to understand the user, challenge assumptions, and redefine problems in an attempt to identify alternative strategies that might not be initially apparent at the beginning of the analysis. Design thinking is a way of thinking about the creative process, as well as a collection of practical methods.

The purpose of the workshop is to introduce Design Thinking, and then to engage in a practical demonstration of the principles, followed by a retrospective and wrap up. The talk is aimed at people not familiar with Design Thinking, but that could benefit from learning more about it.
