Starting 2019 with a site visit

Join us as we start 2019 with a new discussion theme “Leadership and Managing People”.

The Victorian Chapter is proud to present our first Site Visit for the year with supporting event partners Monash University.

Kevin Weatherall, Senior Project Manager & Team Leader and Cristina DePellegrin, Project Manager, Buildings and Property Division, Monash University will be joined by Director Wojciech Pluta, Denton Corker Marshall to provide us with a behind the scenes presentation and walk through tour of the newly constructed $105 million Biomedical Learning and Teaching Building.

The purpose of this project was to deliver a state of the art learning and teaching building for the School of Biomedical Sciences to accommodate and support growth and the universities changing pedagogical delivery methods. This building replaced the ageing facilities that were generally at end of life.

The Biomedical Learning & Teaching Building(BLTB) was also to establish a new architectural & academic landmark for the Clayton Campus. The BLTB will reposition the Medicine precinct as an inviting, accessible, connected and dynamic student and staff oriented learning environment.
