Our project management Mentoring Program offers a powerful relationship between a mentor and a mentee. As a mentee, we pair you with an experienced project mentor, who will give you support and guidance for your professional development and growth.
Becoming a mentor will enable you to reflect and give back to the project management profession, while growing your reputation as an advisor. You will be able to develop your mentoring and leadership skills, learn to communicate clearly to someone outside of your usual network, and gain new perspectives.
It costs nothing to become a mentor, although you do need to be an AIPM member.
If your organisation is currently an AIPM Organisation Member, Partner or Premium Partner, you may be entitled to participate in the program at no cost. If you are interested to register for the program, please contact your organisation’s AIPM point of contact or contact us to learn more.
The application process consists of a thorough questionnaire, diving into your work and education history, industry specific questions and logistical requirements. This questionnaire is used to ensure you are matched with the most appropriate mentor.
Yes, both Mentors and Mentees participating in the Mentoring Program will receive 25 points at completion of the program, provided you complete all 3 program surveys. Keep a note of your participation to use as part of your CPD log.
Yes, recordings will be made available to all those registered for the program.
The program runs over the course of eight months, from February to October.
