Part 1 - What Is Risk?

Mar 19
Is risk different to uncertainty?

Part 1 of a 3 part series

The definition of risk is elusive and there is no clear consensus. Is risk different to uncertainty? Are unknown unknowns part of the risk concept? Are opportunities part of risk? Is risk solely about events? How we define risk strongly influences what we manage within the project risk management processes. This session will review the meaning of risk and culminate in a definition of risk.
