The right levels of support from Executive Sponsors is critical in delivering successful projects.  Furthermore, it is written into every management methodology & governance framework. 

In reality, these relationships often vary over time which can impact both progress and quality of our business outcomes.
 
In this session we explore the barriers to successful executive buy-In and discuss what we can do to nurture engagement & improve outcomes.
 
The Artful PMO is an initiative of the NSW PMO Community of Practice that brings together senior PMO/EPMO managers and organisational leaders for collaborative conversations in confidence. Attended by those with accountability for project and program management maturity, capability and performance, these gatherings will be highly interactive. We will draw on the expertise and experience of peers, as well as expert panellists chosen for each topic, to explore real issues confronting leaders of project-based organisations. 

A panel of wizened and battle-scarred experts will debate the validity of the premise above. They will discuss their experiences, thoughts, and highlight tools and practices that work for them. Following this panel discussion, the floor will be opened to all attendees for discussion, questions, suggestions and debate. A short reading/article will be distributed in advance of each gathering as a primer for discussion (think book-club-meets-group-therapy!). At the conclusion of each event, attendees will select the topic to be debated at the gathering-after-next.

All Artful PMO gatherings in 2019 will be held:

In Room 1814, Level 18, 133 Castlereagh St, Sydney;
On the last Thursday of the month;
From 5.30pm-7pm, followed by optional networking drinks somewhere local
