Is this the evolution of PMBOK?

This is a fast-tracked, interactive presentation to update you on the standards that influence good practice in project management. Participants will benefit from gaining understanding of:

  • The scope of the 6 (and growing) ISO project management standards
  • How these standards relate to PMBOK and PRINCE2
  • What compliance means
  • The impact of these standards on RegPM accreditations
There are now internationally accepted standards for managing projects. ISO 21500 was first released in 2012 and has been updated more recently with a set of associated standards. Australia (and the AIPM) have contributed to their development - yet most project managers seem unaware of these.

If you are a project management professional, you need to be aware of how these standards will influence your work. Do these standards replace PMBOK?  Do I need to update my qualifications? Am I expected to work differently?
